Jill has been involved in the fitness industry since 1999 and has been personal training on a full- time basis since 2002. Jill is the sole owner of Excel Wellness Studio, which has been a long-time dream of hers. She is certified through the American Council of Exercise and also holds several certifications in Group Exercise, Spinning and Kickboxing. Whether you seek weight loss, muscle gain, strength and endurance, greater flexibility, sport-specific training, or nutritional guidance and information Jill can help you accomplish your goal. Jill is also a figure competitor in the NANBF organization.

Jamie Plunkett began developing his passion for fitness as a senior in high school. It was then that he started to educate himself in exercise and nutrition. After high school Jamie attended Emporia State University, and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion. Shortly after graduating he moved to New York City where he worked in Rockefeller Center at the Sports Club LA as a personal trainer. After two years in NYC he decided to move back to Kansas to continue to pursue his passion for fitness. He spent the first year working as a personal trainer at the Lawrence Athletic Club in Lawrence, KS. After a year in Lawrence, he moved to Overland Park, KS to continue to pursue a career in personal training. Now Jamie has established his own business, Jamie Plunkett Fitness. He plans to build a business name that has great integrity. Most importantly he will lead by example and always put his clients first.
Courtney discovered her passion for exercise by accident in a weight lifting class in high school. She was fascinated by the changes in her body after just a few short weeks of consistent challenge. After high school she went on to make exercise into a career and received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas. She is also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. Courtney has now been personal training for over 8 years and believes it is called "personal" training for a reason. She takes pride in making the time to understand client's wants and needs. Courtney specializes in weight loss and nutrition, breaking plateaus and monotonous workouts, and pre and post-natal programs.

Marc believes the best way to improve your overall general fitness is to work with someone who has the education and experience. If you are going to take time to work out or train, it makes sense to learn how to do it correctly so you can achieve your goals and avoid injury. He specializes in weight loss, nutrition, muscle gain, core strength and flexibility.
Marc's training philosophy is to inspire every client to discover health and fitness as a lifestyle: by satisfying their need for change through personal training. He incorporates motivational strategies along with gradual lifestyle change, increased physical activity, and decrease caloric and dietary fat intake, and monitors his client's progress through computer tracked results that hold them accountable and encourage them along the way while keeping them focused on their goals.
Marc has professionally trained in some of the most premier health clubs in the nation and holds national certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association. He is currently attaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology through the University of Kansas.
Finally, he has always had a strong passion to help people reach for their very best - not only in bodily exercise but also in mind and spirit.
Matt turned rehabbing a personal injury into a passion for fitness. After graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Science, he moved to Kansas City to pursue a career in personal training. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer as well as a corrective exercise specialist. He has trained in a number of fitness settings and with a wide variety of clientele. Having worked with former athletes to total beginners, he can tailor a program to fit any fitness level.
Dustin's love of sports and fitness has naturally led him to pursue personal training. An athlete and former college football player, Dustin has spent the majority of his life learning different aspects of fitness. He attended The Professional Fitness Institute in 2005 where he obtained his NSCA certification. Dustin has also worked as a Director of Personal Training at Bally Total Fitness. He is familiar with a wide demographic of clientele, he can help you gain muscle, lose fat, improve speed and agility, or just learn fun, new workouts. Dustin has the skills and knowledge to help you reach your goals.

Kristin has turned her love of sport and fitness into a career. She attended Western Illinois University and received her Kinesiology degree there in 2005 as well as running Division 1 track at WIU. She has been working in the fitness industry ever since graduation from Western and enjoys working with a broad spectrum of clients. Kristin loves working with athletes to expand their athletic abilities and also the every day person to reach their maximum health. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist. She also has a Pilates certification through Peak Pilates. She avidly continues to challenge herself by actively participating in triathlons.

Vanessa has been an ACE-certified trainer since 2005. She has spent the majority of her life making physical fitness a top priority and knows what it takes both mentally and physically to achieve healthy goals. She also has the privilege to work with a varied population of clients and makes every effort to get to know and understand each one. She believes this is crucial in guiding a client on the right path to meet their needs, whether it is in strength training, cardiovascular training, flexibility, or sports. She has also competed in figure competitions within the North American Natural Bodybuilding Federation and cites that as an amazing learning experience in mental and physical fortitude. One of Vanessa's greatest passions is soccer and she played soccer for 20+ years, including college and post-college. She does one-on-one instructional training to help individuals improve their skills resulting in stronger, faster, and smarter players. Her own love of the sport and patience with younger players makes for a fun and high-quality experience. Anthony maintains a very active and healthy lifestyle. In addition to his love of time in the weight room Anthony also participates in 5Ks and half marathons. Currently, Anthony is a senior at the University of Kansas working on a B.A. in American Studies and Foreign Affairs and hopes to work as a United States Diplomat one day. Anthony is also a member of the KU Judo Club. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and trains a wide variety of clients with numerous fitness goals.
